Sissy bar looks great, the tip is a little damaged possibly from being dropped before shipment. A chip of paint is missing about 1/8 inch long on the tip. I’ll have to touch up paint it so there’s no rust problems in the future.
I had a question I asked prior to receiving the sissy bar, “if I have a Corbin touring seat on my Indian scout, will it fit?”
Yes, it sits behind the seat, but it’s very tight, squishing the back of my seat making small Indents in the back that will forever be there if I leave it on for too long.
For future Dean, if someone has this seat, just make the bar about 1/2 an inch further back behind the seat, and it’ll fit perfectly with the Corbin touring seat for the Indian scout.
Other than that, sissy bar looks pretty rad on the bike, I got it mostly for camping trips next season.
If you want a camping sissy bar I’d suggest maybe a 30” bar. My duffle bag doesn’t sit upright on the 24” too securely, but I’ll make it work.
Good work DeanSpeed! Can’t wait to tie down the bag and hit the road for a weekend next year.
